Survey Description
In October and November 2003, a helicopter-supported till sampling survey was conducted by Taiga Consultants Ltd. on behalf of Hornby Bay Exploration Limited. The property is located approximately 100 km south of the community of Kugluktuk on NTS sheets 86J/10-16, 86K/1, 86N/1, and 86O/3, 4. A total of 469 till samples were collected mostly from frost boils. The samples were sent to Loring Laboratories in Calgary, AB for processing, heavy mineral separation and picking. Heavy mineral concentrates were sent to R.L. Barnett Geological for microprobe analysis.
