Survey Description
Exploration of the JC property, situated approximately 360 km northeast of Yellowknife in Nunavut and Northwest Territories was carried out in the 1997-1998 assessment period. A total of 160 heavy mineral samples were collected from glacial sediments. The samples, collected with helicopter support, were processed at Ashton’s lab in North Vancouver, BC. In addition, a total of 136 samples collected by Canamera in 1996 (on behalf of Lytton) was re-processed by Ashton. These reprocessed samples were collected in an area west of the current survey area on the JC property.
