Survey Description
In August 1994, a reconnaissance sampling program was carried out on the Victoria Island property, held by Leicester Diamond Mines Ltd. and Cominco Ltd. on NTS sheets 77C, D, E, F.
A total of 200 samples were collected from lake, esker and stream sediments and processed for diamond indicator minerals at Cominco’s geochemical laboratory in Rexdale, ON.
