Survey Description
A helicopter-supported heavy mineral sampling program was conducted on the Noront 2 property, located in the Itchen Lake area approximately 370 km northeast of Yellowknife, in Nunavut and Northwest Territories. A total of 137 samples were collected during the 1994 summer field season. The samples were sent to Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. laboratory facilities in North Vancouver, BC.
