In 2009 and 2010, representative samples of plutonic and volcanic surface silicate rocks were collected on the Cumberland Peninsula, Baffin Island, Nunavut:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 16D, E. K, L, M and parts of 26H, I, J, P, the Cumberland Peninsula, eastern Baffin Island. The study area is bounded to the southwest by Cumberland Sound and to the southeast by Davis Strait.
