Description du levé


Des échantillons de till ont été recueillis dans 91 sites à proximité de la mine Gibraltar dans la partie sud-centrale de la Colombie-Britannique.  Sur chaque site, deux échantillons ont été recueillis: un pesant 9 à 15 kg pour le traitement des minéraux indicateurs et un pesant 1 à 2 kg pour les analyses géochimiques.  La plupart des échantillons ont été recueillis des expositions de till dans des tranchées de routes et des fossés.  Les échantillons suivants ont été recueillis:

L'étendue géographique du levé est définie par les polygones suivants:

  • Couvre des parties de 93B/08 (Soda Creek) et 93B/09 (Alexandria) du SNRC à proximité de la mine Gibraltar dans la partie sud-centrale de la Colombie-Britannique.  Le centre de la zone d’étude est situé à environ 45 km au nord de Williams Lake et 50 km au sud de la ville de Quesnel.  Il est délimité à l’ouest par Fraser River.
