Survey Description


In 2008, till samples (3 kg and 10 kg at each site) were collected at new and previously identified anomalous sites (GSC OFs 5464 and 5799) in the Settee Lake and Black Bear Island Lake areas, central Saskatchewan.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers parts of NTS 73P/10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, the Black Bear Island Lake area, central Saskatchewan.  It is located approximately 50 km north of the town of La Ronge., SK.

  • Covers part of NTS 73P/16 (Settee Lake), the Settee Lake area, central Saskatchewan.  I<a name="__DdeLink__1032058_1307607986" shape="rect"/>t is located approximately 100 km northeast of the town of La Ronge., SK.

  • Covers part of NTS 63M/12 (Glennie Lake), central Saskatchewan.  It is located approximately 95 km west of the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border.
