En mai 2007, treize échantillons de till ont été recueillis pour la géochimie et les minéraux indicateurs à 12 sites autour du gisement NICO (Au-Co-Bi), zone magmatique du Grand lac de l'Ours, partie centrale des Territoires du Nord-Ouest.  Un total de 27 échantillons de roche ont été aussi recueillis pour les minéraux indicateurs.  Les données sont publiées dans le dossier public 6723 de la Commission géologique du Canada.

L'étendue géographique du levé est définie par les polygones suivants:

  • Couvre une partie de 85N/10 (Bea Lake) du SNRC, autour du gisement NICO, dans le centre des Territoires du Nord-Ouest.  Son coin sud-ouest est situé à environ 4 km au nord-est de Hislop Lake et son coin sud-est est situé à environ 160 km au nord-ouest de Yellowknife.
