Survey Description
In 1988, a follow-up and in-fill vegetation survey was completed in the Star Lake area, Saskatchewan. Black spruce bark and alder twigs were collected. This survey involved revisiting several areas with gold enrichment in the vegetation to conduct more detailed sampling and surface investigations. In addition, samples were taken from a previously unsampled area where the Jasper gold deposit had been discovered since the reconnaissance survey was carried out in 1986. An interpretation of these data is published in Modern Exploration Techniques, Saskatchewan Geological Society Special Publication No. 10.
