Survey Description
Stream sediment and water samples were collected from 754 sites in the Eagle Plains area, northeastern Yukon during the summer of 2000. Sample sites were distributed over an 18 000 km2 survey area at an average of one sample per 24 km2. Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples. The data are published as part of a compilation released by the Yukon Government: Yukon Regional Geochemical Database 2003 (Héon, compiler).
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
