Survey Description
During the summer of 1995, stream sediment and water samples were collected from 304 sites in the Eagle Plains area, northeast Yukon. Sample sites were distributed over the 3900 km2 survey area at an average of one sample per 12.8 km2. Each group of 20 samples contained site duplicate samples; that is, 2 samples from a single site. The data are published as part of a compilation released by the Yukon Government: Yukon Regional Geochemical Database 2003 (Héon, compiler).
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
