Survey Description


Stream sediment and water samples were collected at 868 sites in central New Brunswick during the summer of 2000.  Sample sites were distributed over the 2,130 km2 survey area at an average of one sample per 2.5 km2.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in GSC Open File 4112/New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Open File 2002-1.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
