Survey Description
During the summer and fall of 1991, stream sediment and water samples were collected from 481 sites in southwestern New Brunswick. Sample sites were distributed over the 1550 km2 survey area at an average of one sample per 3.2 km2. Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples. The data are published in GSC Open File 2486.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers most of NTS 21G/6 and the west half of 21G/7 in southwestern New Brunswick. It is bounded to the west by the Maine/New Brunswick border.
