Survey Description

During the summer of 1988, helicopter and truck-supported lake sediment and water sampling was carried out in northwestern Ontario.  Samples were collected at an average density of one sample per 13 km2 throughout the 16,100 km2 survey area.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1958.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
