Survey Description

During the summer of 1986, helicopter-supported lake sediment and water sampling was carried out in central Ontario.  Samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 13 km2 throughout the survey area.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1356.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
