Survey Description
During the summer of 1986, truck and all-terrain vehicle supported sample collection was carried out in southern New Brunswick. Stream sediment and water samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 3.3 km2 throughout the 2500 km2 survey area. Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples. The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 1355.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS sheets 21G and H in southern New Brunswick. It covers a narrow strip of land bordering the Bay of Fundy and stretching southwest and northeast of St. John.

Covers a very small part of NTS 21H/5 (Loch Lomond) just northeast of Otter Lake. Its centre is located approximately 2.5 km southeast of the town of Baxters Corners.
