Survey Description


Lake sediment and water samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 13 km2.  The Helicopter-supported survey was carried out between July 8 and August 20, 1982.  Sample site duplicate samples were routinely collected in each analytical block of twenty samples.  The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 901.

The samples were reanalysed by INAA and published in GSC Open File 2474 along with the original data from OF 901.

This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
