Survey Description
Between August and September 1987, 99 reverse circulation drill holes were completed in the Chapais-Desmaraisville area, northern Quebec on Falconbridge’s PN-020 property. From the drilling program, 440 overburden and 99 bedrock chip samples were collected.
The overburden samples were processed for heavy minerals. The concentrates were examined for gold, and both the concentrates and the bedrock samples were analyzed by Bondar-Clegg for Au, Cu, Zn and As.
The data are published in GM 45896, a report submitted to the Government of Quebec.
