Survey Description


In 1986, mapping and rock sampling were carried out along road cuts on the Grevet Property, Abitibi East, Quebec.  Approximately 340 samples were assayed for gold.

A program of 5 diamond drill holes was also undertaken on the property.  No encouraging results were received.

The data are published in GM 44588, a report submitted to the Government of Quebec.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of the northwest corner of NTS 32F/02 (Lac Quévillon), the Grevet Property, Abitibi East in Quebec.  It is located approximately 15 km north of the town of Lebel-sur-Quévillon and Highway 113 runs north-south through the study area.
