Survey Description
In 1986, 129 till samples were collected from 23 reverse circulation drill holes in the Opawica River area, northern Quebec. The samples were processed for heavy minerals and analysed for a suite of 16 elements. Bedrock chips were also collected and analysed.
The data are published in report GM 44071 submitted to the Government of Quebec.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers a small part of NTS 32G/07 (Lac Surprise) in the Chibougamau-Chapais area of central Quebec. It is located just north of Lac Caopatina and approximately 55 km southwest of the town of Chibougamau.
