Survey Description
B-horizon soil samples were collected at 331 sites on a sampling grid of one sample per 250 meters along all possible roads and trails. At 15 sites, only humus could be collected.
The data are presented on maps in Ministère des ressources naturelles report MB 92-19.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers part of NTS 31P/01 (Talbot) and a very small part of 31P/02 (Lac-Chat) in the Portneuf region of southern Quebec. It is located just south of Lac Lapeyrère and Lac Fou and approximately 43 km northwest of the town of Portneuf. Rivière Batiscan crosses the southern part of the study area.
