Survey Description
During the summer of 1980, a soil sampling survey was conducted by the firm Descarreaux and Assoc., in the Dieppe and Casa-Berardi townships, Quebec. The area covers approximately 250 km2. A total of 167 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 1.5 km2. Samples were analyzed for gold (pyroanalysis/atomic absorption).
The data are published in Open File MB 84-23, Department of Energy and Resources, 1984.
This survey is part of a compilation of geochemical surveys published in DV 87-22.

Covers part of NTS 32E/11 (Lac Raymond). The Casa-Berardi and Dieppe townships area is located in the Abitibi region. It is bounded by latitudes 49°30' and 49°35' and longitudes 79°10' and 79°25'.
