Survey Description


In 1979-1980, a soil sampling survey was conducted on reserved land #2, Cléricy township, Quebec.  The area covers 15 km2.  A total of 169 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.09 km2.

Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mo, Mn, Ag, As, Fe, Hg, Sn and U.

The data are published in Open File GM 39955, Department of Energy and Resources, 1983.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 32D/7 (Clericy).  The reserve land #2 is situated in the northeastern part of Cléricy township, near the village of Mont-Brun.  It is bounded by latitudes 48°20'45" and 48°26' and longitudes 78°39' and 78°45'.
