Survey Description


During the summer of 1981, a soil sampling survey was conducted on the Adelphus property, Quebec.  The area covers 30 km2.  A total of 1287 samples from horizon A0 or A1, were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.02 km2.

Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Mo, Mn, Ag (atomic absorption) and loss on ignition.

The data are published in Open File GM 39813, Department of Energy and Resources, 1983.

  • Covers NTS 32C/6 (Senneterre).  The Adelphus Property is located in Senneterre township, Abitibi region.  It is bounded by latitudes 48°20' and 48°25' and longitudes 77°11' and 77°17'.
