Survey Description


In 1985, a till sampling survey was conducted in the St-Adalbert area, Quebec.  The area covers 1400 km2.  A total of 456 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 3.1 km2.  The <177 micron fraction from the horizon C was analyzed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 21N/4 (Sainte-Perpetue-de-Islet), 21L/9 (Saint-Magloire), /16 (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire) and 21K/12 (Saint-Magloire), /13 (Saint-Pamphile).  The Saint-Adalbert area is located in the Chaudières-Appalaches region.  It is situated southeast of Quebec city.  It is bounded by latitudes 46°35' and 47°05' and longitudes 69°35' and 70°20'.
