Survey Description
During the summers of 1981 and 1982, a soil sampling survey was conducted in the Port-Daniel area, Quebec. The area covers 60 km2. A total of 3367 samples from the horizon B, were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.02 km2. Samples were analyzed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers part of NTS 22A/6 (Rivière Reboul). The Port-Daniel area is located in the southeastern part of the Gaspé region. It is situated in the Weir, Honorat and Reboul townships, Bonaventure county. It is bounded by latitudes 48°21'30" and 48°24' and longitudes 65°05' and 65°25'06".
