Survey Description
During the summer of 1975 and 1979, a geochemical survey was carried out over an area of approximately 2000 km2 in the Témiscamingue area, Quebec. Approximately 800 samples were collected from wells and springs at an average density of 1 sample per 2.7 km2. Samples were analysed for 25 elements in 1975 and 20 in 1979. The atomic absorption technique was principally used for the analysis. The data are published in DV 83-02, Department of Natural Resources, Quebec.
This survey is part of a compilation of geochemical surveys published in DV 87-22.
