Survey Description
Approximately 136 samples were collected in the area of the Timmins Camp, northern Ontario. This covered several townships including Tisdale, Ogden, Deloro, Mountjoy, Murphy, Whitney and Hoyle. No sampling year was given. The data were released as part of a geological compilation of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt in Ontario Geological Survey Miscellaneous Release – Data 155.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 42A/6 (Timmins) and 42A/11 (Pamour) in the townships of Tisdale, Ogden, Deloro, Mountjoy and Murphy, northern Ontario. The towns of Buffalo-Ankerite, Preston East and South Porcupine lie along the southeast edge of the study area.

Covers part of NTS 42A/11 (Pamour) in the townships of Hoyle and Whitney, northern Ontario. It is located approximately 17 km northeast of Timmins. Three Nations Lake lies within the study area.
