Survey Description


Approximately 76 samples were collected in a lithogeochemical survey carried out in Munro and Currie Townships, part of the Abitibi Greenstone belt, northern Ontario.  No sampling year was given.  The data were released as part of a geological compilation of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt in Ontario Geological Survey Miscellaneous Release – Data 155.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers parts of NTS 42A/7 (Watabeag River ) and 42A/10 (Porquis Junction) in Currie Township, northern Ontario.  It is located east of Timmins.

  • Covers part of NTS 42A/9 (Matheson) in Munro Township, northern Ontario.  It is located north of Ramore.
