Survey Description
Multiple lithogeochemical surveys were carried across Ontario between 1969 and 1993. More than 31,500 rock samples were collected at 20,136 sites. The data are stored in LGC database, based on Ontario Geological Survey Open File Report 5855.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 30, 31, 32, 41, 42, 50. 51, 52 and 53, most of the province of Ontario. It is bounded to the east by the province of Quebec and to the west and northwest by the province of Manitoba.
