Survey Description
Humus samples were collected in 1976 at a detailed scale in the Lac des Iles area, district of Thunder Bay in northwestern Ontario. The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Map 80-800.

Paper map with report in map margin.
Quantities Analysed:
0.30-0.80 mm, 0.16-0.30, <0.18 mm fractions analyzed by ICP-AES for 22 elements; by INAA for 9 elements, and by AAS for Ag; 0.16-0.30 mm and <0.18 mm fractions analyzed both by AAS after nitric acid-aqua regia and ICP-AES fluorescence spectroscopy after fire assay for Pt and Pd.
