Survey Description


In 2010, approximately 148 till sampales were collected in the Charlo map area, Restigouche County, northern New Brunswick.

The sample locations are found on NB DNR Map Plate 2012-17 and the data are published as part of a compilation in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development Open File OF 2021-2.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers the east half of NTS 21O/16 (Charlo) in northern New Brunswick.  It is bounded to the north by the Bay of Chaleur and Heron Channel and extends south to 47.75°N latitude.  The western edge of the study area is located approximately 5 km east of the town of Charlo.
