Survey Description
In the summer of 2016, a follow-up till survey was conducted in the Caledonia Highlands area of the Salmon River and Waterford map areas. Samples were collected at 58 sites (52-Salmon River; 6-Waterford) to increase the sample density in an area where reconnaissance surveys were conducted between 1989 and 1994. The aim of the follow-up survey was to further delineate the distribution of copper and gold in till over the Coldbrook Group volcanic rocks.
The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Energy and Resource Development Open File OF 2017-1.
