The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 21J/11 (Juniper), /12 (Perth-Andover), /13 (Aroostook), /14 (Plaster Rock), /15 (Tuadook Lake) and /16 (McKendrick Lake) in central and west-central New Brunswick. It is bounded to the west by the Maine-New Brunswick border and to the east by 66°W longitude. Highway 108 runs east-west through the northern part of the study area.
