Survey Description


Till samples were collected in northern New Brunswick in the Grand Falls map area in 2006.

Sample locations can be found on New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources Map Plate 2010-5.

The data are part of a compilation for NTS 21O (and parts of 21N and 22B) published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development Open File OF 2021-2.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers most of NTS 21O/4 (Grand Falls) in northwest New Brunswick.  It is bounded to the southwest by the Saint John River and the New Brunswick-Maine border.  The cities of Grand Falls and Saint Leonard are found within the study area.
