Survey Description

In 1993, till and till-pebble samples were collected at 48 sites on a 250 m grid in the vicinity of the Captain North Extension massive sulphide deposit, northern New Brunswick.  At each site, approximately 5 kg of basal till and 75 pebbles (>1 cm size fraction) from till were taken from hand-dug pits (0.5 to 1.0 m in depth) trenches or from road cuts.

The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Miscellaneous Report 18.

The samples were reanalyzed by ICP-ES/MS and published with data from other samples collected in 21P/5 in 1996.
