Survey Description

From late June to early July 2005, fieldwork was conducted at the 3Ts (Tsacha, Tam and Taken) property in central British Columbia.  A series of soil profiles were conducted on two ~750 m long east-west lines transecting the Tommy and Ted veins.  The Tommy transect comprises 20 sites and the Ted transect comprises 16 sites.  Sampling intervals were ~50 m, although 25 m intervals were used nearer to the veins.  Three types of organic and mineral samples were collected at each profile site: LFH horizon humus, B horizon soil and C horizon till.

The data and a final report are published in Geoscience BC Report 2007-07.
