Survey Description
Approximately 500 till samples were collected in 1996 in the Adams Plateau-North Barriere Lake area, southeastern British Columbia. The data are published in British Columbia Geological Survey Open File 1997-9.
Data Description:
Paper report and data lists. Digital data on diskette.
Quantities Analysed:
<0.063 mm fraction by INAA for 35 elements; by ICP-AES after aqua regia digestion for 30 elements; by lithium borate (LiBO2) fusion-ICP for 11 oxides, LOI and 7 minor elements.
Geochem Maps Available:
Proportional dot maps show dispersal of selected elements.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 82M/4 (Adams Plateau) and parts of NTS 82M/5 (North Barriere Lake) northeast of Kamloops in southeastern British Columbia. Adams Lake lies in the southeast part of the study area. Highway 5 runs north-south approximately 10 km from the western edge of the study area. Shuswap Lake is located approximately 42 km southeast from the centre of the study area.
