Survey Description
In 2017, 2018 and 2019, 164 rock samples were collected from the Hopedale Block area in central Labrador.
The data are published in Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Industry, Energy and Technology Open File LAB/1763.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers a very small part of NTS 13M/16 (untitled) in central Labrador. It is located approximately 83 km east of the Quebec-Labrador border and about 7.5 km south of Notakwanon River.

Covers a very small part of NTS 13N/12 (untitled) in central Labrador. The study area is located approximately 1.5 km east of 62°W longitude and 3 km south of 55.75°N latitude.

Covers a very small part of NTS 13N/16 (Nunaksaluk Island) in central Labrador. It is bounded to the north by Labrador Sea and is located approximately 5 km west of the western coast of Nunaksaluk Island.

Covers most of NTS 13N (Hopedale) in central Labrador. It is bounded to the northeast by the Labrador Sea and by Ugjoktok Bay in the southeast. The town of Hopedale is located in the eastern part of the study area.
