The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers most of NTS 23J/16 (Hollinger Lake) and part of 23I/13 (Marion Lake) in western Labrador. It is bounded to the northeast by the Quebec-Labrador border. The town of Schefferville QC is located approximately 20 km west of the western edge of the study area.
