Survey Description
In 2017, 165 rock samples were collected from within the central portion of the Buchans‒Roberts Arm belt, central Newfoundland. Sample sites are focused around known occurrences of base-metal mineralization and include representative samples of both mineralized and altered material as well as relatively unaltered country rock.
The data are published in Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources Open File 012H/2293.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 12H/1 (Dawes Pond) and 12H/8 (Springdale) in central Newfoundland. It is located between the towns of Badger and South Brook. The majority of the study area is located just west of the Trans-Canada Highway.
