Survey Description
Reconnaissance till sampling was carried out over northern Alberta in 1992-1994. The sample site distribution is not regular due to limited access to the area. The data are published in Alberta Geological Survey Open File Report 1996-7.
Data Description:
Paper reports; digital files (ASCII and Excel).
Quantities Analysed:
<0.063 mm fraction by AAS after a fuming HF-HClO4-HNO3 digestion for 11 elements; by INAA for 11 elements.
Geochem Maps Available:
Proportional symbol maps show the dispersal of elements.
Other Analyses:
Heavy mineral concentrate for kimberlite indicator minerals; grain size.

Covers the northern half of Alberta. It is bounded to the north by latitude 60°,to the west by the British Columbia-Alberta border, to the east by the Alberta-Saskatchewan border and to the south by latitude 54.25°.
