Survey Description


In 1984, 29 till samples were collected in east central Saskatchewan.

The data are published as part of Geological Survey of Canada Open File 3277.  This compilation open file publishes data collected during the NATMAP Shield Margin Project (1991-1996), and also includes data for samples collected in the area from 1984-1990:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers the northeast corner of NTS 63L (Amisk Lake) and the southeast corner of 63M (Pelican Narrows) in east central Saskatchewan.  Highway 106 runs east-west through the centre of the study area which is located 38 km northwest of the town of Flin Flon, Manitoba.
