Description du levé


Au cours des étés 2015 et 2016, 31 échantillons de till de l'horizon C ont été recueillis dans la région de Southern Indian Lake, au centre-nord du Manitoba.  À 19 des sites, 22,7 L supplémentaires de till ont été recueillis pour le traitement des minéraux indicateurs de kimberlite.

Les données sont publiées dans les rapports « Open File OF2017-2 (KIM) » et « Open File OF2018-1 » (géochimie)  de Manitoba Geological Survey.

Les données font également partie de deux compilations dans les dossiers publics OF2020-2 et OF2020-3 de Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development.

L'étendue géographique du levé est définie par les polygones suivants:

  • Couvre des parties de 64G (Big Sand Lake) et 64B/15 (Cousins Lake) du SNRC dans la région de Southern Indian Lakea, dans la partie nord-centrale du Manitoba.  Il est situé à environ 25 km à l’ouest de Gauer Lake et 21 km au nord-est de la communauté nordique de South Indian Lake.
