Survey Description

In July 2012, 39 till samples of ~2 kg each were collected within an area of approximately 7700 km2 between Caribou Lake and the North Knife River, northern Manitoba.  The samples were collected between 20 and 100 cm depth from the B, B/C or C soil horizon in hand-dug pits.  Samples were collected from mudboils where possible.  Five additional till samples were taken below surface from three sections on the North Knife River.

The data are published in Manitoba Geological Survey Geoscientific Paper GP2013-2.

The data are also part of a compilation in Manitoba Natural Resources and Northern Development GeoFile 2-2022 (supersedes OF2020-3).
