Survey Description

In August 2013, samples of seaweed (rockweed [fucus gardneri]) were collected at 47 stations around Jervis Inlet, southwest British Columbia.  Samples (~100 g) were plucked from the rocks at intervals of 2-5 km along the shore, with additional samples where streams were seen draining into the sea.  A total of 60 samples (including controls) were submitted for geochemical analysis.

The data are published in Explore (Newsletter for the Association of Applied Geochemists), no. 176.
