The survey was managed by the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) and jointly planned by the GSC and New Brunswick, Department of Forests, Mines and Energy, Mineral Resources Division (DFME), under the Canada-New Brunswick Mineral Development Agreement 1984/1989.
