Regional Geochemical Surveys, British Columbia
These files relate to data separately acquired by the Province of British Columbia as part of the National Geochemical Reconnaissance Surveys in 1978, 1979 and 1980 according to specifications established for the 1975-79 Federal-Provincial Uranium Reconnaissance Program. The British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources planned and financed these surveys while the Geological Survey of Canada provided technical assistance and data management.
All survey data has been previously published by the Province as British Columbia Regional Geochemical Surveys, BC RGS 1 to 6. The survey areas and corresponding Geological Survey of Canada Open File numbers are:

Each open file consists of a text of field observations, analytical and statistical data and related information, sample location map and a mineral inventory map.
These files will be available September 24, 1981 for reference only at all Geological Survey of Canada libraries.
