Summary Data on Stratabound Sulphide Deposits in the Canadian Caledonides (Appalachians), Compiled by A.L. McAllister, D.F. Strong, J.L. Davies, R.Y. Lamarche, D.F. Sangster and M. Zentilli

This open file is comprised of a 40 page report and a map of the Canadian Appalachians showing major geological and structural units as well as the distribution of 88 stratabound sulphide deposits of Caledonian age. Deposits are shown by symbols indicating size and contained base-metal ratios. The map (scale 1:1 000 000) is accompanied by tables and explanatory text keyed to the map and list relevant geographical, geological, mineralogical, tonnage-grad, and bibliographic data pertaining to the deposits. This is a contribution to IGCP Project 60 – Correlation of Caledonian Stratabound Sulphides.
