Lithophile element content of some Canadian Granitoid Rocks, by R. Mulligan

This report presents analyses of Li, Rb, Cs, Sn, Be, Mo, W, F, Cl and K ₂O for various granitoid rocks from the Appalachian and Cordilleran regions and Superior Province of the Canadian Shield. The data are interpreted in terms of variations in the distribution of the elements in the three terrains and possible relationships with deposits of some of the lithophile metals.

This open file consists of text, tables, figures and five appendices and may be viewed at all Geological Survey libraries. Copies may be obtained at the user’s expense from Campbell Reproductions, 880 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 6K7.
